Tekni-Plex,
Inc. announced today that it has sold its Swan Hose business to
Jacobson Partners, a private equity firm located in New York City. Terms
of the transaction were not disclosed.

pieces of tree bark in the Pines. "We have been very pleased with the
recent performance of Swan, and have effected this sale to allow us to
focus on our core healthcare, food packaging and specialty segments. We
intend to use the net proceeds of the sale to reduce our leverage by

caused a fire that damaged several pumper trucks at a gas well site in
the Northern Panhandle.

Department of Environmental Protection spokeswoman Kathy Cosco says the
cause hasn't been verified. But she told The Herald-Star of
Steubenville, Ohio, that an initial review indicates that a break in a
hydraulic line from a pump caused a spark. The fire occurred Monday at a
Chesapeake Energy well site in the Wellsburg area in Brooke County.The
project was a hydraulic dredging process using a suction hose and
transporting the sand via hose to the public beaches. The trucks are
